My husband and I had an unforgettable stay at Bayview Cabins. The hosts, John and Liz, are the kindest people you’ll ever meet. They run a farm filled with rescued and beloved animals: emus, kangaroos, horses, deer, and even a white peacock! The bond they have with their animals (especially the bottle-fed baby deer) is beautiful to witness. We arrived unprepared without bikes (which are a must on French Island!), but John and Liz saved our trip by shuttling us to the winery and the ferry. They truly treat guests like family. - Serena Xu
